Foreign Policy.

Genocide is wrong.

We need to stop telling other counties what to do. It is us who should “shut up and go away”.

No one is scared of, or impressed by our “independent” nuclear deterrent. Cancelling the dreadnought program will free up £41 billion which would be much better spent elsewhere. Spending on equipment and training in preparation for a major conflict (or two) should be ramped up. The MOD have a tendency to allow cost overruns- throwing good money after bad- there are times when a project should be cancelled rather than continuing to a Pyrrhic conclusion. The Ajax fighting vehicle being a prime example. The Chieftain tank upgrade program needs to be accelerated.

Plans will be drawn up to pay compensation for colonialism and the slave trade.

As major authors of the various problems in the Middle East- we should take a significant lead in rebuilding Gaza. This will include beginning the process of building artificial islands off the coast; thus reducing population density and creating a long term sustainable tourism sector.

Floating islands in the doldrums will be constructed and made available for settlement by refugees.

Water shortages will continue to plague living standards and peace; we will investigate options to evaporate seawater and transport potable water by aqueduct to central inland watersheds.  Rising sea-levels will be countered by re-flooding the Aral Sea. As oil pipelines become redundant they may be re-purposed to contribute to the process.

Dredgings from the Panama Canal will no longer be dumped at sea, adding to rising sea-levels.  Instead, they will be shipped to low lying islands in danger of submerging.

You know how much sense it makes.
